Etisalat and
Research In Motion (RIM) have announced
availability of the new BlackBerry Bold
smartphone in the Middle East.
From October 7, etisalat customers will have the
opportunity to experience a top-of-the-line
smartphone with a combination of elegant design
and advanced functionality for a great 3G
experience. Customers can access various
applications and use the BlackBerry Bold for
business and entertainment while staying
connected through etisalat's high-performance
HSPA network with speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps to
leverage its advanced features.
The BlackBerry Bold features a next-generation
624 MHz mobile processor that makes short work
of downloading e-mail attachments, streaming
video and rendering web pages.
Customers will be able to choose from three
customised BlackBerry subscription plans. The
Unlimited Domestic subscription plan costs Dh185
per month, Unlimited Global plan is for Dh295
per month and BlackBerry Unlimited subscription
is Dh130 per month.
